Website redesign: a new design and modern performance
Your website no longer reflects the quality of your business? It's time to transform it.
An outdated design, a site that is hard to browse on mobile or slow to load can put visitors off before they even discover your services. At Agence Web POP, we rethink your website's interface and modernise its technical architecture to create a more attractive, smoother experience better suited to your goals.
We notably handle WordPress to Next.js redesigns, with a new visual direction, particular attention to performance and a structured SEO migration process.
Why redesign your website?
Your website is often the first contact between your business and a future client. Its look matters, but it is not enough: a good website must also be readable, fast, accessible and easy to use.
A redesign can be particularly relevant if:
- The design no longer matches your identity or positioning.
- Pages are cluttered, hard to read or difficult to browse.
- The smartphone experience is not good enough.
- Loading feels slow, especially on important pages.
- The website is hard to evolve or relies on a pile of components and plugins.
- The content structure does not highlight your services and calls to action enough.
- You want to support a repositioning or national or international growth.
A redesign is particularly recommended when several of these problems add up. It must, however, be based on a real diagnosis, not a passing trend.
Two complementary transformations: design and technology
1. A visual redesign that showcases your business
We work on the first impression and the clarity of the interface: hero section, visual identity, typography, contrast, spacing, navigation, cards, forms, buttons and content hierarchy. The goal: a more appealing website that is easier to use, without sacrificing readability or accessibility. Discover our custom web design.
2. A performance-oriented technical modernisation
We study the existing architecture and, where justified, propose a rebuild with modern technologies such as Next.js. Caching, image optimisation, removing unnecessary scripts and a suitable hosting configuration can help improve loading speed and the stability of the experience. Important: final performance depends on development, content, third-party services and configuration; a framework alone does not guarantee a score.
From WordPress to Next.js: a complete redesign, not just a new theme
WordPress can suit many projects. But some websites become complex to maintain or optimise, especially when their architecture has evolved over the years.
At Agence Web POP, we can rebuild an existing website on Next.js, keeping useful content, reworking the interface and preparing a methodical migration: URL inventory, metadata transfer, redirects, canonicals, internal linking, language versions, sitemap and Google Search Console monitoring.
This approach aims for a platform better suited to the client's current needs. We do not claim that a migration automatically improves Google rankings.
Case study · Before / After
Before / After: the Dentiste-Enfant.com redesign
A paediatric dental practice in Paris: a new online experience
Agence Web POP supported Dentiste-Enfant.com, the website of Dr Adriana Agachi's paediatric dental practice in Paris, with a visual redesign and a technical migration from WordPress to Next.js.
The project includes a multi-page brochure website in French and English, an interface reworked for families, easier access to information and to appointment booking via Doctolib, and a transfer of SEO elements. See also our website design for dentists page.

Visit the current website — dentiste-enfant.comTechnical performance: comparing measurements, not impressions
| Metric | After (Next.js) |
|---|---|
| Mobile performance | 99/100 |
| Accessibility | 93/100 |
| Best practices | 100/100 |
| Lighthouse SEO | 100/100 |
“Before” measurements will be added once an authentic screenshot of the former website is available.
At that date, aggregated field data (Core Web Vitals) was not passed: the scores above are lab measurements.
Lighthouse scores are lab measurements that vary with the page and test conditions. A reliable comparison must use the same URLs, devices and conditions; on its own it does not prove an improvement in SEO rankings.
A redesign that also takes your SEO into account
A website migration can disrupt indexing if it is poorly prepared. That's why we include an SEO process from the audit phase — and, if needed, a detailed SEO audit:
- 01Inventory of pages and URLs to keep.
- 02Analysis of important content and its internal linking.
- 03Mapping of old and new URLs, with 301 redirects where needed.
- 04Checking canonicals, robots tags, sitemap and language versions.
- 05Checking relevant structured data and metadata.
- 06Monitoring indexing and performance in Google Search Console after launch.
Goal: limit the risks of a migration and create a solid technical foundation for future optimisation, without promising automatic results.
A better experience on desktop, tablet and mobile
A redesign is not just about changing colours. We reorganise information to make reading easier, put important actions within reach and check how components behave on different screen sizes.
Points of attention: readability, contrast, navigation, forms, speed, visual stability and accessibility.
How does your redesign project work?
01
Audit of the current website
We review the interface, structure, performance, content, technical constraints and your business goals.
02
New visual direction
We quickly propose a first interface, notably with AI tools, then refine it with you. We favour a direct, iterative approach over a series of unnecessary mock-ups.
03
Rebuild and migration
We develop the new interface and integrate the content, forms, third-party services and features confirmed within the project scope.
04
Pre-launch checks
We check responsive display, user journeys, performance and the essential elements of the SEO migration.
05
Launch and follow-up
After launch, we check that the website works properly and monitor the available technical and SEO signals.
Which websites can we redesign?
Brochure websites, company websites, websites with a blog, multilingual websites, e-commerce shops and platforms with specific features. Each project is assessed according to its complexity and the services to carry over. For a brand-new project, discover our professional website design.

Frequently asked questions about website redesign
When should you consider redesigning your website?
When the website is no longer consistent with your image, works poorly on mobile, lacks clarity, loads slowly or becomes hard to evolve. An audit determines whether a full redesign is needed.
Can a WordPress website be rebuilt with Next.js?
Yes. We can rebuild the interface and the relevant features on Next.js after analysing the existing website and its needs.
Does a redesign automatically improve SEO?
No. It can create better technical conditions, but SEO also depends on content, competition, links, indexing and the quality of the migration.
Can existing URLs and content be kept?
Often, yes. We make an inventory of pages and decide which URLs to keep or redirect. Content can be reused, reorganised or reworked depending on the project.
Is it possible to modernise only the design?
Yes, if the current architecture allows it and it meets your goals. We recommend the right solution after a diagnosis.
How much does a website redesign cost?
The price depends on the number of pages, content to carry over, features, languages, SEO migration and integrations. We provide a personalised quote.
How long does a redesign take?
Duration varies with complexity, content volume, approvals and features. A schedule is proposed after study.
Your website deserves a new generation of design and performance.
